The InfraGard Program Office is beginning the third and final step of the InfraGard member recertification process. As you’ll recall, several months ago, all InfraGard members were asked to complete step 1 by updating their account information to initiate the recertification process. For those who completed step 1, the second step is the security assessment being conducted internally by the FBI – no action is required on the member’s part.
The third and final step is the IAL2 identity verification. A third-party vendor, ID.me, has been selected to conduct this verification, which requires members to provide two forms of identification. The InfraGard Program Office will be sending a broadcast message to all InfraGard members later this evening about the ID.me identify verification process.
Below please find an advance copy of the message. Please note this is the first of two messages. This first message serves as a ‘heads up,’ so members are aware to expect a second broadcast message on 6/30 (and from whom) with the actual links.
