Specialized Experience – 48 years law enforcement, proprietary and contract security service. Starting his career at the Travelers Insurance Company where he earned the title of Security Coordinator for their Data Centers and properties in Hartford, CT and Norcross, GA.  Gary also operated as a Special Police Officer, Special Deputy Sheriff, and Emergency Medical Technician (EMT). After Travelers, Gary joined Pinkerton Security as Operations Manager for the Connecticut territory. When Pinkerton was acquired by Securitas Security Services USA, Gary was promoted to Branch Manager of Northern Connecticut, Western Massachusetts, and Vermont.  Under his lead the unit grew to be extremely successful, and Gary was promoted to Area Vice President of Western/Central Massachusetts, Vermont and Rhode Island. For the last nine years Gary is the Regional Vice President for USentra security based in Warwick RI serving the New England area. Gary is a 40-year member of ASIS International and has served ASIS International in many capacities. He has been a Chapter Chairman in Western Massachusetts and Rhode Island. Assistant Vice President of New England. A member of the Cultural Properties Council in 2014 Gary was awarded the “Outstanding Council Chairman of the Year” Award by the President of ASIS International. In 2019 Gary was appointed to the ASIS International Awards committee by the President of ASIS International. Gary is also a long-term board member of the New England Chapter of the IFCPP. He was in the first group of members to become Certified International Protection Instructors. In 2018 Gary was elected to the board of the Rhode Island chapter of INFRAGARD the alliance for national infrastructure protection in partnership with the FBI. In January he was elected as the President of the Chapter and served for two years.
