Lisa B Lafleur
BIOGRAPHY
Lisa Lafleur, is a Director of Cybersecurity at Walmart, responsible for External Party Risk Manaagement. She has been in cybersecurity for more than 25 years. She started her IT career working as first a PC technician, working her way up to Network Manager before creating a new role within her company as their first full time Information Security Administrator in 2002.
Lisa spent 20 years in the financial sector working for BankNewport, FirstFED, and Webster Bank where she honed her skills. She moved over to the Defense Sector with Raytheon Technologies, in 2005 beginning first an Information Security Administrator and by continuing to increase her skills, move up to business CISO, and then Associate Director leading teams to develop modern solutions to secure the classified environments and ensure compliance with a perpetually growing set of regulations.
After 14 years in the Defense Sector, and seeking more experience, growth, and challenges, Lisa moved to Walmart in 2021 where she is responsible to ensure the confidentiality, integrity and availability of critical Walmart data resources access by, or under the control of external business partners.
Additionally, she is responsible to build an automated process to to analyze static and near real time business partner cybersecurity process and practices to create a continuous cyber hygiene score for external parties.
Lisa is passionate about growing a diverse labor force within Information Technology and Cybersecurity.
